Tupper Lake is a wonderful community located at the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. It lies in the center of ten major rivers and is surrounded by a 1,000 lakes and ponds. Tupper Lake is truly the North Country’s crossroads. Located at the intersection of Route 3 and 30, Tupper Lake is at the crossroads of the Olympic and Adirondack Trails. The Village of Tupper Lake is located in the Town of Altamont, which includes 76,168 acres of rolling hills and 46 miles of navigatable waterfront, including Big Tupper Lake, Raquette Pond, Little Simond Pond, Lake Simond and the Raquette River. The elevation varies from 1,500 feet to 3,163 feet at the top of Mt. Morris.
