CANADA LAKE HOTEL was built by James Fulton in the 1880s. The hotel's launch is seen in front of the dock. The hotel advertised a multiple of options for people to enjoy themselves including a claim to be "Free from Hay Fever" Unfortunately the hotel was short lived and burnt to the ground in October of 1914.
