The Beaver River Inn was not at Beaver River, but at Stillwater, accessible by road from Number Four and Big Moose. It is now the Stillwater Restaurant. Henry C. Churchill built the 1st hotel in Stillwater, "The Old Homestead", in 1905, sold it in 1911, when it became the Beaver River Inn.
