| Edward "Daddy" Doolan and his wife Mary welcomed guest at the Forest Home on Main Street for more than 40 years. Doolan's horse-drawn "taxis" met the train at Fulton Station and brought passengers to Old Forge for 25 cents per person. The Century 21 building now sits at the site of this old hotel. BACK |
